What are your favorite or least favorite memories from the first day of school when you were a kid? Tell me about your school days.
In the US, it used to be a tradition or a custom to wear something a little bit fancy on the first day of school to make a good impression on the teachers, and on one's fellow students.
I remember on my first day of first grade, thinking so much about my clothes and planning out the perfect stylish outfit to make an impression on everyone. However, looking back on it now, because that was in the 1980s, it looks very dated and like a real fashion tragedy! But at the time, I thought I looked as cool as anything!
