On Saturday night, I met up with a friend who I haven't seen in a long time. So we caught up over dinner and then decided to go to a jazz lounge to listen to some live music. The performance consisted of a jazz vocalist backed up by a double bassist, keyboardist, and drummer. They were good. They played a mix of old and new jazz hits, including some Christmas carols. I enjoyed the evening, but I felt a bit sad because it had been almost two years since I last heard live music due to the pandemic. Anyway, that experience was just a good reminder of how much I like jazz.

토요일 저녁에 오랜만에 만나는 친구와 만났어요. 저녁을 함께하고, 오랜만에 이야기를 나누고, 그 후 재즈 라운지에 가서 라이브 음악을 듣기로 했어요. 공연은 재즈 보컬리스트가 더블베이스 연주자, 키보드 연주자, 드러머에 의해 백업되었습니다. 그들은 정말 능숙하게 연주했고, 오래된 재즈 히트 곡이나 새로운 재즈 히트 곡, 심지어 크리스마스 캐롤까지 연주했어요. 즐거운 밤을 보냈지만, 2년 만에 라이브 음악을 들은 것이라서 조금 서글픈 기분도 들었어요. 그래도 이 경험은 내가 얼마나 재즈를 좋아하는지를 다시 확인할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었습니다.
